A varied and interesting leisure programme is provided.

 

 

In general, the programme consists of the following each week :

• 3 afternoon activities
• 3 half day excursions
• 1 full day excursion
• 3 evening activities
• Drop-In facility on 2 evenings

Afternoon Activities

Afternoon activities include : samba drumming, gladiator challenge, paint-ball challenge, golf, cinema, bowling, football, volleyball, basketball, indoor hockey, baseball, table tennis, art, singing, walks.

Half-day Excursions

Half-day excursions include :

  • Dalkey Castle,
  • Liffey Voyage,
  • Powerscourt Gardens,
  • Dublinia & Christ Church,
  • St. Patrick’s Cathedral,
  • Bram Stoker Experience,
  • Guinness Hop Store,
  • Viking Splash,
  • Walking Tour of Dublin,
  • Dublin Castle,
  • Croke Park,
  • National Museum,
  • Museum of Natural History,
  • National Gallery,
  • Number 29,
  • Kilmainham Jail and many more.

 

Full Day Excursions

Full day excursions include :

  • Glendalough and Greenán Farm,
  • Crazy Golf and Wicklow Jail,
  • Dunbrody Famine Ship and National Heritage Park,
  • Japanese Gardens and National Stud & Lullymore Park
  • Old Jameson Distillery and Shopping in Dublin,
  • Newgrange and Hill of Tara ( when available ).
  • Power Boating and Shopping in Dundrum

 

Optional Extra Activities

  • Quad biking
  • Multi-activity day
  • Horse riding
  • Abseiling, and
  • Orienteering

Evening Activities

Evening activities include : Disco, karaoke, céilí ( Irish dancing ), line dancing, talent show ( with participation of Irish teenagers )], table quiz.

Drop-In Facility

Drop-In facility : Students can use the facility from 19:30 to 21:30 on evenings when they don’t have an organised activity. They are supervised by our staff and their group leaders as they engage in a number of activities including snooker, table tennis, board games and talent show preparation. They can also watch DVDs on a wide-screen television. Refreshments are available.
